Professor, Program Manager - Hospitality & Tourism Management
Justin Taillon is a Professor and Department Head for the School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Highline College in Seattle, WA. He worked for eight years in the hospitality industry prior to joining academia and earning an MBA at the University of Guelph and a PhD at Texas A&M University. He held positions ranging from housekeeping intern with Starwood to Assistant General Manager with Hilton. His research focus includes market-based socio-cultural conservation.
Jason's Mentorship presentation will discuss how Mentorship plays a role in our lives no matter the position we hold in our organization, life, or career. Successful individuals have mentors and provide mentorship to others simultaneously. In this session we will learn and discuss what mentorship means as well as how we can leverage mentorship to achieve success and balance in our personal and professional lives.
